The Library
The Library module in TytonAI provides a centralized interface for accessing and managing all critical assets related to your geospatial projects. This module allows users to view, organise and manage all projects, imagery, models, datasets, files, and workflows in one central location
Accessing the Library
To open the library module:
- Navigate to the top menu.
- Click View > Windows > Library.
- The library will open as a side panel with a categorized structure on the left-hand side.
Library Categories Overview
The library is organized into the following key sections:
1. Projects
- View and manage all projects in your environment.
- Displays thumbnails, update dates, associated clients, and tags.
- You can filter, search, and select individual projects to work on.
2. Imagery
- Contains all uploaded and processed image captures.
- Each imagery entry shows capture name, date, and the number of associated layers or bands.
- Useful for selecting base imagery for training, inference, or comparison tasks.
3. Models
- Houses all saved machine learning models.
- View model names, training dates, and version histories.
- Enables easy retrieval for inference or retraining.
4. Training Datasets
- Central repository for curated training datasets.
- Each item shows dataset name, update history, and number of associated labels and training samples.
- Facilitates reuse and inspection of past training data.
5. Files
- Raw data files, model outputs, configuration files, and all uploads are found here.
- Lists file name, folder location, size, upload date, and uploader name.
- Includes options to filter or delete individual files.
6. Workflows
- Custom or predefined automated pipelines used in your projects.
- Each workflow includes a name, short description, and a Run button.
- Examples include deploying imagery, calculating metrics, exporting shapefiles, and more.
Tip
- You can access the library at any time without leaving your active map view. Simply dock the panel and browse your assets while continuing project work in the same workspace.
- Use consistent naming conventions across Projects, Imagery, and Models to ensure clarity and easier searchability.
- Periodically review and clean up unused files in the Files tab to maintain storage efficiency.
- Tag and categorize projects in the Projects section for easier collaboration across teams.
